Digilocker Driving Licence Download - A Step-by-Step Guide

A driving license (DL) is a must-have for drivers. Without it, driving is illegal because it shows you can drive safely. It also acts as an ID card everywhere in India.

Download a Driving Licence via DigiLocker

To download your driving license from DigiLocker, simply follow these steps:

• Visit the official website of DigiLocker https://www.digilocker.gov.in.
• After opening the official website, click "Sign Up Now".

• Now a new page will open, here some information like - Name, DOB, Email, PIN, will be asked from the user, the user should enter the required information to sign up on DigiLocker.
• After entering all the information, click on “Submit”.

• Now, revisit the main page and click “Sign In”.
• Enter the Aadhaar Card/Mobile Number and 6-digit Security PIN and click “Sign In.”

• After this an OTP will be sent to your mobile number, candidates enter their OTP in the box and click on the “Submit” button.
• Now your DigiLocker account will open on your screen. Now click on "Browse Documents" visible on the main page.
• After clicking on Browse Document, candidates should search by writing Driving Licence in “Search Documents”.
• As soon as you search by typing driving licence, some new options will appear on your screen, from these options, click on "Driving License - Ministry Of Road Transport and Highways".

• A new page will appear on your screen displaying the name and date of birth of the license holder at the bottom. To access your driving license, enter your license number and click "Get Documents."

• Now your driving licence will open.

Now click on the Download button to download the driving licence.
